Intelligent, fun lover, peace maker Calvin Ngabo Kagahe (Young Ck) was a very meticulous as an individual thus the origin of his childhood nickname "Philosophe" which translates to philosopher unveiling his eye for details, thoughtfulness and wisdom in everything he did and said and later became the talented rapper we all love with his greatest hit "UMUGABO".
Though his recording career lasted a little over 5 years , Young CK is one of the unforgettable talent especially in the Rwandan community and Rwandan diaspora not only due to the depth and wisdom in his lyrics but also the vibe of his music.
Young CK started his music career in 2018. He released “Get the bag” as he first song. He started perfomed in clubs and fashion shows. Later he had a featuring song with Carmene C called Tornado. It was very well received by his fans. In 2020,he release an featuring with Arnaud Grey and Getts Kent,”Umugabo”.It was his hit song and break through in the rwandan music. Pacific Cyusa, His videographer, made a quality video that made Young CK be know to have nice videos. Later on, He released Umurava, 420,We outside and Ndi Powa.
Young CK performed in many cities in Canada, Ottawa, Toronto, Prince Edward,and Edmonton.
He shared stages with Big artists, like Diamond, The Ben, Nel Ngabo,Platini P and more.He loved doing music no matter the struggle that he would face because he believed he will write history.

Calvin Ngabo kagahe (Young CK) or "NIKITA" as a nickname was the last born in his family, born on 23rd Jan,2000 in Kigali, Rwanda.
The rapper grew up in Rwanda where he did his primary education at Camp Kigali and Ecole Primaire Saint Charles Lwanga, he continued his high school at Ecole des Sciences de Gisenyi and later joined King David Highschool. Young Ck moved to Ottawa, Canada In 2017 when he was 17th years old to join his family and continuing his education at St Pius where he graduated his high school before joining the Algonquin College.
Young CK had a big heart and always loved on those around him , he had a great sense of humor since the moment he could talk and talented at so many things including but not limited to Rapping obviously , Dancing, comedian, imitating different person/characters among many others. He was a fun lover and he strived to make a peaceful environment wherever he was. he had such great empathy for others and truly loved and showed his love to his family , friends and those who crossed path with him.
Young CK is a such a rare soul and his zeal for life will shine on forever!!
